It’s probably not the first Foleo to ever splash down on eBay , but this one might just be the most comprehensive of them all. Palm’s companion laptop-that-never-was will almost definitely remain a tech mystery for eons to come, but today, the chance is yours to own the flop of the last decade for just $750. Better still, that Buy It Now price includes a smorgasbord of applications, so you won’t have to go hunting in order to find programs that actually take advantage of the thing

Another day, another Apple leak. This time it’s an eBay double whammy of the camera-donning iPod touch , which appears to be of the same design from August but now with iPod branding on the back. Furthermore, the two devices bear the prototype identification codes “DVT-1″ and “DVT-2″ (”DVT” stands for “design verification test” in Apple-speak, according to Daring Fireball ), while the DVT-2 model wears an extra bar code label seemingly stamped by the “Apple Development Team.” We tried to verify using the FCC ID “BCGA1318″ at the bottom, only to be let down by a kaput FCC database — we’ll give it another spin later

Remember the HarmoNESica ? A brief refresher, then: it’s what happens when you’ve got a copy of Super Tecmo Bowl , a Pocket Pal harmonica, and the desire to create a unique musical instrument. But if you don’t have any of the aforementioned ingredients and just want the end result, eBay’s got you covered as usual — three HarmoNESicas have been gathering bids at the online auction house this week

So here it is, the now-famous ( that was fast ) Bloom “Box” Energy Servers — all five of ‘em — working their magic at eBay’s north campus. Not much to look at, but we’re happy to say it retains a low temperature — the only heat we really found was due to direct exposure to the light — and remains quiet while running

Bloom ‘Box’ Energy Server hands-on (literally) with video!
If you thought only a semi-deity like Ben Heck could splice consoles into laptop-shaped cases , here’s some evidence to the contrary. This week, CollinE from Ben’s forums put the finishing touches to his own, rather professional looking, Xbox 360 laptop. Adorned in a red and black color scheme that features a throwback giant X on the top lid, his 360 stays true to the original console in almost all respects — including the “wind tunnel” noise generated by Collin’s five fans.

Would you pay $1,200 for an as-of-yet unreleased Intel Core i9 chip? Hard to say if the transaction actually occurred, but an auction recently ended from a Taiwanese eBay user who claims to be selling a six-core, 2.4GHz Xeon Westmere Gulftown processor.

Alright, we’re not too happy with the Natural Selection moniker implying that being a celebrity is somehow a marker of evolutionary prowess, but we’ll forgive Toshiba this one time. The Japanese company has recruited a quartet of famous folks to help promote its wares with limited edition laptops painted to their specifications. Aerosmith guitar legend Joe Perry, the no less mythical Rainn Wilson, Pittsburgh Steeler Hines Ward and his coach Mike..

Wishing you could get a Motorola Droid and stand out from all your Android-toting friends at the same time? Then you might just want to consider bidding on this “limited edition” Droid prototype that just turned up on eBay, which has a reasonably good chance of being an actual Droid, and a slight chance of being an actual prototype. If the seller is to be believed, however, this particular Droid is one of only five produced, and is different from the standard issue Droid in a few respects — including a chrome bezel instead of a black one, silver buttons instead of gold, and some “enhanced LED lighting” on the front buttons.

Hey, remember that totally wild, awesome looking “Atomic” Zune HD we spied evidence of in the source files a week or so ago?
